Domain Names & Registration
You never own a domain name, it is only registered to you, and domain names are being registered in their thousands every day. If you haven't done so already you should act now to protect yours by asking us to register it.

Most domain names cost no more than 20€ per year and almost all are available through us. All you need do is email us the domain name you are looking for and we will check to see if it's available. Then, once the name is registered to you it is protected against anyone else getting it. Names are being registered in their thousands every day so don't leave it until it's too late!

Generally, the best domain name to go for ends in .com since this is used across the world. Often this one has been registered to someone else so you might need to consider .es (Spain) or .eu (Europe) or one of the many others.

But I'm Not Ready For A Website Yet
That doesn't matter. Once you have your domain registered, you can take as long as you wish before you have the site designed for you, although you should bear in mind how much business you will be losing if you don't have a website.

So What Is Hosting?
A website is a collection of linked pages which people can view using a web browser. These pages have to be stored somewhere on a powerful computer which has permanent high speed access links to the internet. Few people have such facilities so almost everyone makes use of a hosting company to do this for you. Prices for hosting varies from company to company, the one we use (where we have special deals available) charges 5€ per month which is paid yearly in advance. This includes all the tools you might need or want and also database access should your website require this. A few other hosting companies seem to charge less, but then pile on the "extras" as soon as you want to do anything.
